Ron English, is a well-known painter, whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums all over the world. This contemporary pop art is becoming huge worldwide. In every painting or sculpture that English creates, a message can be found.
Ron English is considered one of the fathers of modern street art and has initiated and participated in illegal public art campaigns since the early eighties. Some of his extralegal murals include one on the Berlin Wall’s Checkpoint Charlie in 1989 and one on the Palestinian separation wall in the West Bank in 2007, with fellow street artists Banksy and Swoon.
